Here we examine the evolution of ant-mediated dispersal in stick insects (Phasmatodea) and the geographic and temporal overlap between myrmecochorous stick insects and angiosperms, and the ants (Formicidae) that disperse them. Our goal is to infer the global pattern of the evolution of myrmecochory.
