Integrating Information Literacy Into Your Entomology Courses

During this one-hour workshop, participants will learn about and practice annotating a scientific paper (Stone et al. 2021; https://doi.org/10.1093/ee/nvab012) for use as an information literacy tool in both general and advanced entomology courses. In addition, we will discuss the use of pre- and post-assessments designed to evaluate student understanding of topics. After the workshop, all participants will receive the full group annotations and question sets as well as an example module outline to facilitate their immediate implementation and use of the materials in their classrooms.
