From the start of graduate school, I knew I wanted a non-academic career. I envisioned working for a biocontrol company rearing insects and tracking local pest populations. However, I landed in consulting and now learn about biocontrol and broader agriculture through a business lens. For those interested in the business side of science, my talk provides an overview of my experience transitioning from academia to the corporate world.
