This presentation will provide an overview of my experiences, lessons learned, and barriers that I’ve overcome on my path to becoming an assistant professor and making my mark in leadership roles. My hope is that the next generation of entomologists will see themselves in some part of my journey and feel empowered to continue with theirs.
