This symposium aims to showcase insect-based control technologies from SIT to gene drive; common concerns and requirements towards an efficacious solution, community support, and regulatory approval; standardise TPPs, field trial design and environment risk assessment in different settings, and synergies between interventions towards effective scale-up and integrated pest management.
