Gall-inducing insects are characterized by specialized and tightly linked associations with host plants. This symposium will unite a diverse community of entomologists, and will highlight state-of-the-art molecular methods, field experiments, and novel insights into the natural history, evolution, and contemporary relevance of these underappreciated insects.
