Humans inadvertently affect insects through changing their environments and creating novel selective pressures. This symposium examines our impact on insect biology. To ensure a better tomorrow, research on the dynamics of insect biology in relation to human activity is essential to conserve healthy ecosystems, biodiversity, and food security.
