The Sterile Insect Technique (SIT) stands as a sustainable and environmentally friendly IPM tool. By harnessing the principles of SIT, we can reduce insect pest populations, address the response to invasive species, and decrease insecticide use. This symposium focused on scientific advances in SIT as a catalyst for transformative action.
