Feet first: How cooperator relationships have cultivated a junior faculty's first year

This talk will discuss one junior faculty member's transition from teaching in the classroom to the field and how utilizing existing cooperator relationships, in addition to building new ones, has helped immerse a new extension specialist into their role. By jumping in feet first, existing cooperators have welcomed recent extension hires in their new roles. Talk will focus on cooperators that have have been a part of Oklahoma State's on farm research for 30+ years, their reasons, interests, and their efforts to aid in field days/on-farm demos for stakeholders.
