Talks revolve around cutting-edge research on the beetle suborder Adephaga: the predaceous ground- and water beetles. Session begins with a broader focus looking at phylogenomic, genomic, and transcriptomic evolution across the group. As the symposium proceeds topics become more focused: family-level level phylogenetics and phylogeographic studies within particular species.
