Abstract: Arborjet Inc., a tree health care company, has developed several innovative products (TREE-age) and equipment systems (Quik-jet Air microinjection) since it’s beginning in 2000 for the protection and care of trees and shrubs. More recently, Arborjet is looking to address some of the limitations and/or fill gaps in this industry. We are working with several partners to develop systemic injectable products from unconventional actives, create granulated formulations of soil amendments, evaluate new broad-spectrum actives to target new invasive insect and disease pests, identify new actives to reduce potential impact on pollinators, and make improvements on existing application systems. Updated system (AccuFlo Soil Injector ISD) that allows for chemical application primarily through soil injection, but also can be realigned for soil drench or foliar spray applications. A newly acquired and redesigned Supersonic Air Knife and vacuum uses high pressure air for excavation of roots around the base of trees and shrubs for the purpose of identifying potential girdling roots and/or reduce soil compaction.
