Dean Graduate School and Professor of Entomology Purdue University West Lafayette, Indiana
I was not trained as a post-harvest entomologist, but used my skills developed as a science graduate student and postdoc to become a post harvest entomologist and someone that could work and learn from a great team of rodentologists, mycologists, economists, and engineers. The same was true when I became dean. Scientific skills will help you solve a diversity of problems - lean into them.
