The terminologist guide to the galaxy: How Mike taught me to "not panic" and shaped a research career

Michael Haverty has had tremendous influence on a large segment of the termite research community spanning the end of the 20th and beginning of the 21st centuries. This presentation will highlight, in a travelogue format, the meetings, roadtrips, and collaborations where Mike shaped my (and my students') journey through the termite universe.
