Bt corn is one of the best management tools for European corn borer management. The symposium will delve into the distribution of Bt-resistant ECB, monitoring and mitigation strategies, and the molecular basis and characterization of resistance mechanisms following detection of Bt-resistant ECB in eastern Canada and the US since 2018.
