Discrimination against Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) has long been a practice of Western science. A keynote speech by Dr. Michelle Boone will connect historic scientific racism with modern experiences of BIPOC scientists, followed by group discussion to identify and mitigate key challenges faced by BIPOC entomologists.
