Entomologists without borders: Landing a job and succeeding in the land of opportunity

Every year, students from countries across the world travel to the US to pursue advanced degrees. Once they graduate, they are eager to use their newly acquired knowledge and training to make a difference. Diverse career paths are available but navigating the job search and work-related cultures and environments can be a challenge. This presentation will share tips for success and experiences gained during a journey in academia - from Extension and Research/Teaching to leadership as Department Head.
