Dr. Tom Kuhar first discusses how he predominately recruits his graduate students through his “farm system” by first employing them as summer undergraduates, and then watching them grow into entomology professionals. He also discusses the vision and mission of Entoquest, the informal summer meeting in the Eastern Branch bringing together a community of like-minded, diverse people who share a common love for being outside interacting with nature, especially insects.
