My journey as an Extension Entomologist began with its slow start but now, I am about 30 years into my Extension adventure. When you begin a position in Extension, like many positions, you do not really know what you are doing. You and your program evolve over time. With hard work, good mentoring, and passion, it is all possible. I will discuss some of the challenges, rewards, and skills learned that have helped me succeed in my Extension career.
